From this political election, before and after, one thing has become so clear to me and that is that regardless of what political side you reside modern Americans are some of the most self-important creatures on the planet. And through their aggrandized self-importance it’s absolutely imperative that they be offended by something at all times. Lest their tiny little fear mongering feeble minds become unfed with the absolute political and religious opinionated junk food they survive on and they collapse like an imploding star into a split-second glimpse that their imaginary world is perhaps just one way of looking at things, and NOT absolute reality. But I can’t necessarily blame them; a wild animal born into a cage has no knowledge that they are in fact a prisoner… everything seems fine because those bars have always been there (look how far we’ve come). Such is the danger of the indoctrination of a belief system; especially one where you can NOT be wrong, no matter how wrong you might be. The opposite of any scientific method which exists to get unbiased results. The opposite of reason… but this isn’t an attack on politics, religion, spirituality, or any prescribed belief system which I understand is as real as it is believed to be real. It’s a call to realize just that. What an individual holds to be the truth is the truth for the individual, and the freedom to practice that belief so long as it does not infringe on another rights to do the same is one of the main reason those damn pilgrims decided to come and establish America as the land of the free; because they couldn’t do that back home. God Damn, human nature is an fearful, insecure bitch.
