I stress out a lot… I don’t even notice, I got ADD and high expectations. During college I would study with one earphone on and one off; If I had both earphones on I couldn’t read, if I didn’t have them on at all I wouldn’t be able to keep focused. I rarely sit still. TV gives me stimulus overload. I often get distracted by new ideas and find it difficult to not research them. I read several books at the same time. And even though all that is true… I could stare at that ass for hours.

I don’t know what to say about the Juggaknots. Breezley Brewin flow is sick. A monotone torrent of storytelling words that may or maynot be on beat but always fit and lyrically are astounding. Producer Buddy Slim’s unique production is a perfect canvas for Brewin’s cynical unorthodox delivery. This is off of their Re:release album, an underground classic. They have a newer album called Use Your Confusion. Both albums are worth putting on heavy rotation. Myspace them here.

dr.Frankenstein is from Canada. I think he only put out one EP/quazi-album in the mid 90’s. When I went to Toronto the only thing I wanted was this 12″. They wanted like $50 for it. I came home without. Luckily I have awesome friends. One who gave me the 12″. One who gave me a complete download of the album. Thanks. I listen to this song way too often for my own good.

Last summer I drove out to Boston and along the way I made a list of the songs that helped me get from here to there, when I came home I made a mix of those songs. That tape never really saw the light of day, except for my one copy. This song was on that tape. Some rooty business for the weekend retardout.

Pinky and the Brain + Bmore = Instant love…even if it’s not perfect. It’s like when you’re in a grocery line and there is a really cute girl infront of you wearing a sorority shirt and she turns around and says, ” I love Iggy Pop solo, but when he was with the Stooges… that stuff gets me hot.” You just sort of have to look past that shirt and realize that things that cool don’t come around all that often.
