Buhloone Mindstate. Both musically and lyrically De La was rejecting the commercialization of hip hop and thus delivered what, may be, their least accessible album; a benchmark in conscious hip hop.

CC is all over the map getting called out on straight jacking artwork and music from multiple sources. I couldn’t care less. Later today I’m taking their songs and releasing them under my own name. It’s called sampling. Some people just don’t get it. So what if I use their whole song, I’m changing the name…  you just can’t please everyone.
