The air is finally coming in. An eclectic gathering today to take any direction forward. Juxtaposition is the essence of the collage. Positive tension creates energy.  Negative tension is damn near death.

Reckless, energy, noise / alt-rock, pipes, ect. Everything that can be said about these guys has been said better by someone else. I’ll just make note that their album is self released (Always support the DIY). And I’m hoping to catch a show by these guys in the near future. If thats not enough, you’ll have to listen to the song too. (facebook)

I know that this isn’t completely original (ta’raach beat and all), but something about it is fun in the same way the old Slum Village was. A little off. A little on. Dust it off like an old 12 inch!

Heres something that got left in my email a couple weeks ago and that has been in constant rotation since. Atmospheric garage jam sessions and recording machines in the East San Jose. Thanks guys.

“This track was inspired by a shut-off notice the power company left on our door that night.”

I have to let this post off light, to match the mood the the weather we’re having; record breaking warm temperatures. And its not just the heated fighting to blame. Pilooski ( Cédric Marszewski ) floats this Nora Dean’s “Angie La-La” sample into a delightfully melodic banging house track that I just can’t play enough. I’d love to see this bring home a dancefloor somewhere.
