Brooklyn born Dana Dane best known for his humor and fashion rhymes got his start way back with Slick Rick in the Kangol Crew. Slick Rick’s English accent real, Dane’s not so much. He actually put out an album that went Gold in 1987, led by “Cinderfella Dana Dane” but I remember him from the tracks “Nightmares” & “Delancey Street” from old school mix-tapes. In 1995 on Madonna’s Maverick Records, yeah I know messed up right, he released “Rollin Wit Dana Dane” but anyway “Record Jock” was hot.
