Fingerbanger Friday: Sure Fire
March 22nd, 2013 |

Bowie: The idea of getting minds together smacks of the flower power period to me. The coming together of people I find obscene as a principle. It is not human. It is not a natural thing as some people would have us believe.

Copetas: What about love?

Burroughs: Ugh.

Bowie: I’m not at ease with the word ‘love’.

Burroughs: I’m not either.

They’ve pissed off everyone who isn’t a rich, white, straight, evangelical sociopath. I’m shocked that they get more than 10-15% of the popular vote any more. That’s basically just a reminder that a lot of horrible people live in the flyover states. – Internet Comment

I think the gay community should drop the rainbow and triangle and take up the Red, White, and Blue with a rectangle. Maybe just co-opt the flag with the word ‘United’ written on it. Make it into a  peel resistant sticker that just breaks apart when you try to remove it (see BLKMRKT for that) and then just hand them out coast to coast.

The Hol Baumann ablum Human Live Nuit Hypnotique #4 is an incredible ambient live re-working of his Human album.  The whole album can be thought of as one long song with each track merging with the next, taking you on an odyssey that rolls along like a swell across the ocean, pulsating with micro and macrobiotic aural life. I really can’t recommend this work enough.
