Galactic (website) is a live funk band of sorts, that have been putting up some joints with some emcees laltely, most notably Gift of Gab, Lyrics Born, and Boots Riley of the Coup on thier new album From the Corner to the Block (amazon). Their full heavy sounds sometime overpower the lyrics, but bring flavor too… so don’t overlook the potential.
