If we’re fortunate, we’re a moth to a hot lamp, following our desires to an burning passionate end. But getting what we want is never what its suppose to be, and no one can run from themselves. There’s no getting it right, there’s only living.
I’m going to start today out with this smoldering slow ride down the bvld in the moist airs of a summer night. we’re all on this ride together, so we might as well turn this up and get into a good spot. From the dynamics of Woolfy. Respect the sounds, buy all their deliciousness on amazon for less than a omelet and coffee.

Lets stay on this same road. Roll up, roll down, get a good feeling and lets go… Living Legends (myspace) have made a good name for themselves by staying the course and following their own sounds, and that’s respectable. It use to be a shame that they wouldn’t distro except online, and it made it hard for fans to actually get their sounds, but the business has changed and maybe they were just leading the evolution. Buy Living Legends at Amazon. or at the Legendary Music store here.

The single KO punch is spectacular, but it’s not a strategy for success. Every jab, cross and upper births a statement, every slide, step and advance is a strategy. Bagpak Music and South City Recordings (myspace) have teamed up to hit more ears together, and lay some thick grooves on us all, and both are bringing some heat. Check out the Bagpak Music Store for more goodness. Bagpak Records on Amazon Here. Download More from the South City Allstars at Turntable Lab Here. Both these crews are really worth checking out further… lots of good stuff going on here.

It’s time to take a time machine back to 1996. Looking to further capitalise on the success of The Score, the Fugee Camp realeased an official Bootleg Album that featured some Clark Kent and Salaam Remi remixes of songs from their first album and a few other joints. Nothing that the new found fans of the Fugees were probably looking for, no one was really looking to see Diamond D production either. So what of it? Oh, yeah… I bought that cd and I listened to it, bus rides and all. Mostly because of this track…

Its about time I confront a serious issue here. Somethings need to get out into the open, and todays the day. The Yaggfu Front (myspace) goes into my criminally slept on crate, and it’s right up front too… sort of saying, how did these bangin sounds slip through the cracks? I only got one idea, ok…no, I got three ideas. 1. North Carolina wasn’t the hip hop source that it seems to be today (but really, swap meets aside, NC still aint bringing much besides scary ass spiders). 2. Maybe everyone was trying to keep them a secret cuz they be too good, gettin others a bit jealous. But, whatever on that. 3. Yaggu Front didn’t promote enough… Did they? Secret Tapes is aaaaallllll hotness and sat waiting for realease until 2002 (when I picked it up). I need to know more. Yaggfu, I’m coming for you. Buy Yaggfu on Amazon. Yaggfu.com. (peep Esau’s Ugod refrence… makes me smile everytime.)
