A taste of spring washed up on our doorsteps this week, 50 degrees had us remembering the living yet to be done this year. While everybody is capable of stating what is their perception, get over it and make something. Big Ups to Benzito for his K-os track he posted yesterday, genius.
Spring is still off a bit, but that doesn’t stop the wanting to tear off into it and not look back, unfortunately, winter doesn’t give a shit. So I ease off into the sun shine mind set with a little Karminsky Experience. The Power Of Suggestion ( on amazon here).

If you’re not a Coltrane lover, I can’t help you. If you can listen to A Love Supreme and not feel anything, I can’t help you. If Jazz doesn’t sit in your head as an embodiment of all music, and more punk than punk, as it does in my head, I can’t help you. But Dj Cam is going to try, from his album Lost & Found (on amazon here)…

Ooop… Shhhh… this is an oldie (in terms of the current music scene), but still so good. Produced for Nike as a song for jogging, this helped LCD’s carear more than it did and chunky hipsters trying to drop those ironic ‘Pabst Blue Ribbon’ lbs. Besides, fucking off those pounds is a lot more fun than jogging. Thats why I’m making and selling some fucking shoes… this will also be the soundtrack for those. (oh yeah, it’s over 45 min long, so some of you might want to plan on a bit of foreplay.)

I’ve been a huge C-Rayz Walz fan for a while. I remember driving down to the Detonator Records show in Madison to pick up all the vinyls. They wouldn’t let me in though cuz I wasn’t 21… don’t care. Back then Breeze Evahflowin was the one everyone was trying to see since he was winning freestyle battles… but C-Rayz was the one with the hot songs with deep concepts, Degrees was the joint. Buy his new album Who the f%@k are you? here. He’s also got legal troubles in Indians… so don’t forget to FREE C-RAYZ WALLZ.

From Monsters & Silly Songs came an unexpected notch of indie (K7) experimentation by way of blogs and remixes, this may now be considered classic in a sense. I only say that because it’s more than a year old and kids still know it… well, some do. Touch your titties. Joakim on myspace.
