I go back and forth, admittedly it’s not easy for me to walk away from this. I’ve put 7 years into this music blog and its precursor; a creative outlet that let me share music, words and images. And I love sharing music almost as much as I love the music itself. Whatever the intent may have been in the beginning, it became a sort of moving collage. And I never expected the recognition and appreciation from around the world. From the count of anonymous daily visitors to the recognizable musicians in the industry. Those that emailed their personal stories, those that said I inspired them to create their own music blogs, and those that thanked me for having a song they were looking for or just doing what I do… everyone, you all kept this project going. Thank You. But responsibilities grow and I have less time to commit to making this good. Posts are rushed now, time to hunt good new music is scarce, I’m less involved with the music scene and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. So rather than continue a slow decay, I’ll leave it be what it was. Still… there’s remains a desire to continue somehow, in some way, and I’ll admit to toying with that idea. And so whether it be djnodj or rather likely a whole new site, if I do begin again and you’d like to know, email me at (ptone@djnodj.com) and I’ll put you on a notice list.
