These aren’t the best songs of the year. Shit, they might not even be new in 2011, they’re just some goods from what I posted in the previous 12 months that particularly grab me. And I’m not going to get all evaluate-y and critique them against everything else or pick something from every genre just to prove how well rounded I am. In fact, I don’t have any illusions that I have even covered all that much musical ground lately. Don’t blame the music though, It’s my fault. . . I’ve got too much on my plate, less time to listen and perhaps less to say. But it’ll come back, I mean…Mazzy Star took 15 years… erm, I doubt I’ll be here in 15 years though.  So, here are a few of  the songs that stuck to me as I move about this incredibly puzzling mass of vibrations.
